Unix Network

A Unix network enjoys a greater level of stability over a Microsoft network.  It has been a time-tested operating system developed by many software developers, and is the platform of choice in many enterprises.

One of its main advantages is the power that the platform has to run and maintain applications active with speed and stability.  Its disadvantages over a Microsoft network are a combination of less available applications and productivity suites, and the technical expertise required to operate the platform (even with the high expertise requirements of a Microsoft network).
