Microsoft Network
A Microsoft network provides the flexibility of operating a wide variety of applications and productivity suites currently available in the software market. Perhaps the most popular of suites is Microsoft Office, which enjoys the highest level of interaction with the Windows operating systems as well as the financial and marketing muscle of Microsoft. The greatest advantage of the Microsoft network is very likely the ease of file sharing and communication among workstations with minimal knowledge of a network's innards. Its main disadvantage over Unix is its speed, since it is a more resource-intensive platform than Unix.
